The Manistee Riverwalk is 1.5 miles of pure beauty, with mile markers noted every tenth mile so you can track your distance. There are also historical site markers posted along your walk. The Manistee Riverwalk is handicap accessible at each end, one at First Street Beach and the other next to the US-31 bridge. You will love walking or running along the river taking in the beautiful views of the channel. Whether you enjoy watching the wildlife, admiring the many boats along the marinas, enjoying an ice cream cone or making your way to the beach. There are benches along the way in case you need to take a rest or want to just sit and take it all in. The walkway is both in the sun and shade so it is a great walk in any temperature. There are restaurants or shopping just steps away from the Riverwalk as well. There are no dogs allowed on the path.
